Through your support of the United Way's Education Initiative, we are able to provide mentorship to students and aid to address the barriers to a good education and stablility to families caused by poverty, unemployment, homelessness, and more. There are one in five people living in the Bismarck-Mandan area that do not have enough money to meet their basic needs and are currently living at or below poverty level. Low income students that work with the United Way are more likely to achieve benchmarks in education than other low income students without these services. Help us to support this cause by donating so we can continue to provide positive role models to more children within the Bismarck-Mandan area and guide them toward a successful future.
