The Little Black Dress Campaign is a poverty awareness event led by United Way's Women United.  During the week of September 20-23, we will each be wearing the same black outfit throughout the week to illustrate the effects poverty can have on one's access to resources, confidence, and ablity to obtain employment, while raising funds for women and children in our community.

This campaign also makes a big impact within our community, as it not only helps fight poverty long-term to help children in our community succeed early in life, but it also provides tutoring to struggling readings, ensures children get designated mentors, and helps case workers address barriers to a good education and a table family.

Our goal is to raise at least $1,500 by September 23rd!  Help us make our goal and fight the fight against community poverty!!
