Abused Adult Resource Center
The Abused Adult Resource Center is a private nonprofit agency dedicated to serving the needs of abuse victims and their families in south-central North Dakota. 
AID Inc.
AID Incorporated was founded in 1983 by Father Charlie Backus and is incorporated as a private nonprofit agency in North Dakota governed by a nine-member board of directors made up of community leaders. Their primary mission is to assist the “working poor in becoming self sufficient.” 
American Red Cross - West Dakota Chapter
American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disaster and helps communities prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. 
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bismarck-Mandan
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bismarck-Mandan makes a positive difference in the lives of youth through a professionally-supported one-to-one mentoring relationship with a caring adult. 
BIS-MAN Transit
BIS-MAN Transit is a nonprofit transportation provider, providing door to door Para transit services 24/7 for elderly and/or disabled individuals.  Also, they provide the “CAT” which is a fixed route bus services for anyone to ride. 
Burleigh County Senior Adults Program
Burleigh County Senior Adults Program provides services to individuals age 60 years and older.  BCSAP receives United Way funds to provide meals and basic health maintenance services to keep aging adults independent and healthy. 
Charles Hall Youth Services serves at-risk foster care youth, ages 10 – 19, through residential group home programming to assist them in making a successful transition from troubled adolescence to mature adulthood. 701-255-2773
Child's Hope Learning Center
Helping all children reach their fullest potential.  They provide an educational environment for children with and without disabilities to create an atmosphere of integration not isolation. 
CCO, Inc.
CCO partners with United Way to operate the "Wheels for Work" program, which matches qualified applicants with reliable transportation to assist them in finding and maintaining employment. 701-226-2488
Crisis Care Chaplaincy (formerly Bismarck Law Enforcement Chaplaincy)
Crisis Care Chaplaincy serves the community by helping those in the community during stressful times in their lives. 
Face It TOGETHER is a community addiction management organization designed to help those suffering from the disease of addiction to alcohol and/or drugs get well and stay well. FIT's innovative approach to addiction targets addiction sufferers and their families in the workplace. 701-323-8745
First Link 2-1-1 Helpline
2-1-1 is a simple, easy to remember, free number that connects callers to information about health and human services.  Callers who dial 2-1-1 in North Dakota are connected to FirstLink 2-1-1 Helpline, which provides confidential listening and support in addition to information and referral.  Call specialists are also trained in crisis intervention, including suicide intervention.
Girl Scouts - Dakota Horizons
Girl Scouts - Dakota Horizons offers girls from kindergarten through high school the opportunity to become leaders in their community. For more information, contact the Northwest District Office in Bismarck at 
Good Heart Community Center
The nonprofit community center serves the people of Solen, ND and the surrounding Standing Rock reservation. A thrift store is also operated within the center. 701-445-3436
Great Plains Food Bank
Great Plains Food Bank serves children, adults, and seniors living with or at immediate risk of hunger by providing access to (free) shelf-stable and perishable foods and grocery products through their partner network of charitable feeding programs. 701-751-6188
Guardian and Protective Services 
Guardian and Protective Services, Inc. provides needed protective services to vulnerable adults, who have no one to assist them. 
Head Start provides preschool services such as health, education, social services, and parent involvement to promote school readiness in children ages 3-5.  701-323-4400
Legal Services of North Dakota
Legal Services of ND is a nonprofit organization which provides legal help to disadvantaged elderly or low-income North Dakotans. LSND accepts cases in the areas of Government Benefits, Family, Health, Consumer, Housing, Elderly Law and Indian Law.

Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota
Since 1936, Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota has provided faith-based, human services across the state.  We provide 19 programs that serve families, youth and communities. 
Mandan Golden Age Services
Their agency’s mission is to establish and provide nutrition, health maintenance, education, recreation, and fellowship for citizens of Mandan who are 60 years of age or older. 
McLean Family Resource Center
The Mclean Family Resource Center provides prevention and intervention services for victims for domestic violence, sexual assault and other crimes in McLean County. 1-800-651-8643

Missouri Valley Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization that exists to serve the community through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. 
Neighbors Network
Neighbors Network provides in-home services to support families of school children who are experiencing difficulties that affect their children’s success in school by helping improve parenting, stabilize relationships and promote independent living in the community. 
As a voice for people who are homeless, the North Dakota Coalition for Homeless People coordinates and supports efforts to provide basic human needs and housing.701-390-1635
North Dakota Reading Corps (NDRC) is a regional initiative that combines the people power of AmeriCorps with the science of how children learn to read. The goal is to help every child become a successful reader by the end of 3rd grade. 701-446-3170
The Northern Lights Council, Boy Scouts of America is a comprehensive youth development program for boys and young men ages 7-20 and young women ages 14-20. 701-223-7204
Rebuilding Together 
Rebuilding Together is the leading volunteer organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the houses of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled, so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence. This work is done by volunteers, with no cost to the homeowner.
