Day of Caring was established to promote the spirit and value of volunteerism, increase the awareness of local human service agencies and demonstrate how people working together for the good of the community can accomplish great things.
- A record smashing 1208 volunteers pitched in, investing 9,664 hours in our community
- 51 local non-profits, parks and schools hosted and well over 100 projects were completed throughout Bismarck-Mandan and surrounding communities
- $345,858 in savings can be reinvested into life-changing community programs and organizations
- More than 100 local businesses pitched in to support the event through sponsorships, in-kind donations and providing employees a paid volunteer day
