BNC wants to be a part of improving our community by bringing awareness to poverty and raising funds to fight it.
Did you know that one in five people living in Bis-Man do not have enough money to provide for their basic needs?
Or that only 35% of Bis-Man youth have a positive role model?
What if you could help the struggling readers in K-3rd grade in our community get the tutoring they need? United Way had proven that low income students working with their Education Initiative have been 20% more likely to read at grade level and 27% more likely to meet math benchmarks.
