Day of Action-Community Baby Shower
Day of Action recognizes the passion, expertise and resources people bring every day to build a better life for all. It's a day to appreciate those who have dedicated their time and talents, and to inspire others to answer the call-to-action.
This year during Day of Action, the Women Untied will hold their third annual "Community Baby Shower" to provide at-risk mothers with essential baby items to help ensure a healthy beginning for their newborns. WLC members can get involved in a variety of ways: by setting up a collection site at their workplace; by attending a sort-a-thon to assemble all the items into attractive shower gifts on Wednesday, June 21; and by sponsoring a basket!
